Vehicle loans use the same proven repayment screens as gold loans: interest payments, part payments, top-ups and closure, with every figure reaching the day book and ledger.

Short answer: FinApp collects vehicle loan repayments with the same four payment types it uses for every loan: interest payment, part payment of principal, full closure and top-up. Interest follows the scheme, the accounting entries reach the day book and general ledger, WhatsApp and SMS messages can carry receipts and reminders, and any loan can be found by vehicle number.
| Payment types | Interest, part payment, full closure, top-up |
|---|---|
| Interest | Calculated from the scheme you set |
| Accounts | Entries reach the day book and the double-entry ledger |
| Messages | Receipts and reminders by WhatsApp and SMS |
| Search | By vehicle number or any collateral detail |
| Day end | Day closure with cash tally |
The same payment types serve every loan in FinApp, whether the collateral is gold or a vehicle.
The customer pays the interest due and the loan continues.
Part of the principal is paid, which reduces the amount on which interest runs.
The loan is settled and closed in one payment.
An eligible loan can be topped up with an additional amount.
Interest follows the scheme attached to the loan, and the accounting works on the sanctioned amount and rate whatever the collateral. Every payment flows to the day book and the double-entry ledger, and day closure tallies the cash against the system.
Receipts and due reminders can be sent to customers by WhatsApp and SMS, so the customer has proof of payment and a prompt before the due date.
Loan search takes a vehicle number or any other collateral detail you recorded, then opens the loan with its payments, documents and schedule.
