Short answer: CK Tech microfinance software includes two MIS reports. The demand-collection-balance (DCB) report shows, for a date range, what was due, what was collected and what is still to collect, grouped by group, by agent or by branch. The portfolio-at-risk (PAR) report, run as on a chosen date, shows the balance at risk by how many days payments are past due.
| DCB report | Demand, collection and balance for a date range |
|---|---|
| Grouped by | Group, agent or branch |
| PAR report | Portfolio at risk by days past due, as on a chosen date |
| Also | Dashboard and a reports screen; report definitions are stored as data |
| Access | Follows the user's role privileges |
DCB answers a daily question: how much did we expect, how much did we get and how much is outstanding.
The amount that fell due in the period you choose.
The amount actually collected in the same period.
The amount still to be collected.
Switch the grouping to see which group, agent or branch is behind.
PAR looks at loans whose payments are overdue and groups the balance at risk by how many days past due they are, as on the date you choose. It is the early-warning report: the older the overdue days, the harder the money is to recover.
The application has a dashboard and a reports screen, and report definitions are stored as data, so reports are added without changing the application's code. Who can open each report follows the role privileges you give users.
